About the Role
IITIL is seeking a proactive and business-focused HR Business Partner
(HRBP) / Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to partner with business
leaders in driving people initiatives aligned with organizational goals. The
role is responsible for managing the employee lifecycle, performance
management, employee engagement, HR operations, employee relations,
and compliance while supporting business growth in a dynamic IT
environment.
The ideal candidate should possess strong stakeholder management skills,
business acumen, and the ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with
day-to-day operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
HR Business Partnering
- Partner with business leaders to understand workforce requirements and
business priorities.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR related matters.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance concerns,
grievances, and conflict resolution.
- Support workforce planning and manpower forecasting.
- Identify retention risks and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Coach managers on people management and HR best practices.
Performance Management
- Drive the end-to-end performance management process.
- Facilitate goal setting, mid-year reviews, annual appraisals, and
performance discussions.
- Support managers in implementing Performance Improvement Plans
(PIPs).
- Track performance trends and provide actionable insights.
Talent Management & Learning
- Support talent review and succession planning initiatives.
- Identify training needs through Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
- Coordinate Learning & Development programs.
- Assist managers in preparing Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
- Promote internal career growth and employee development.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives.
- Conduct employee feedback surveys and support action planning.
- Coordinate Town Halls, recognition programs, wellness activities, and
employee connect sessions.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and retention trends.
HR Operations
- Ensure smooth execution of the employee lifecycle from onboarding to
exit.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate payroll inputs with the Finance team.
- Ensure timely completion of HR processes and adherence to SLAs.
- Support HR audits and maintain data accuracy.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory regulations.
- Assist in implementing and communicating HR policies.
- Support compliance related to:
o PF
o ESIC
o Gratuity
o POSH
o Shops & Establishments Act
o Other applicable labour laws
- Support internal and external audits.
Recruitment Partnership
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to fulfil hiring requirements.
- Participate in interview panels for key positions, as required.
- Support onboarding and smooth integration of new employees.
- Assist with workforce planning and hiring forecasts.
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Track and analyse HR metrics, including:
o Attrition
o Headcount
o Hiring
o Employee Engagement
o Performance Ratings
o Diversity Metrics
o Training Effectiveness
- Prepare HR dashboards and reports for business reviews.
- Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions.

Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources.
- HRBP: 3–5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering within the IT/IT
Services/Technology industry.
- Senior HRBP: 5–8 years of experience in HR Business Partnering within the
IT/IT Services/Technology industry.
- Experience partnering with business leaders and managing the employee
lifecycle.
