KSKT AgroMart (Kisaan Se Kitchen Tak) is a technology and supply-chain venture delivering naturally grown, chemical-free agro-produce directly from trusted farms — at fair prices for consumers and fair returns for farmers practising Good Agricultural Practices.
Kaze Living is KSKT's premium gourmet grocery marketplace — bringing fresh produce, artisan bakery, clean-label snacks, functional beverages, wellness essentials, and curated lifestyle products to discerning Delhi NCR households. Together, KSKT and Kaze Living are building a modern retail ecosystem that combines quality, transparency, and convenience across online and offline channels.
THE ROLE
The Category Manager owns the growth and profitability of multiple product categories across KSKT and Kaze Living. The role sits at the intersection of merchandising, procurement, distribution, and business development — responsible for sourcing the right products, onboarding and managing vendors and distributors, driving category performance, and ensuring exceptional product availability across retail and digital channels.
You will work closely with founders, operations, marketing, and sales teams to build scalable category strategies that deliver revenue growth while maintaining the premium quality standards of the brand.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
— Own the end-to-end performance of multiple product categories across online and offline retail channels.
— Develop and execute category growth strategies, assortment plans, pricing frameworks, and promotional calendars.
— Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage suppliers, manufacturers, and vendor partners.
— Negotiate commercial terms, margins, contracts, and service agreements to maximize profitability.
— Build and manage distributor networks across target markets to support category expansion and market penetration.
— Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with procurement and operations teams to ensure optimal stock availability.
— Analyze category sales, margins, customer buying behaviour, and market trends to drive data-backed business decisions.
— Collaborate with marketing teams on product launches, campaigns, seasonal promotions, and category-led growth initiatives.
— Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research to identify emerging trends, white spaces, and sourcing opportunities.
— Maintain strong relationships with vendors and distributors while ensuring service quality, compliance, and operational excellence.
— Prepare category performance reports, business reviews, and growth recommendations for leadership.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
— Graduate in Business, Retail Management, Supply Chain, Food Technology, Commerce, or a related field; MBA preferred.
— 3–7 years of experience in Category Management, Procurement, Merchandising, Vendor Management, Distribution, or Retail Operations.
— Experience in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Grocery, Retail, Consumer Goods, or E-commerce sectors.
— Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in vendor negotiations and distributor onboarding.
— Understanding of retail operations across both offline stores and online marketplaces.
— Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and business performance tracking.
— Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
— Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with high ownership.
NICE TO HAVES
— Experience working with premium food, gourmet, wellness, lifestyle, or D2C brands.
— Exposure to modern trade, general trade, and distributor-led sales models.
— Experience with inventory planning, assortment optimization, and retail merchandising.
— Strong network within the FMCG, food, or retail ecosystem.
