Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to join our pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing quality Finished goods formulation, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely purchasing operations to support production and business requirements. The candidate should possess strong negotiation skills and knowledge of finished pharmaceutical product procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management: Handle purchasing of Finished pharmaceuticals products and other production-related items as per company and client requirements.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with Manufacturers and vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Purchase Planning: Coordinate with production and inventory teams for purchase planning and stock management.
- Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors to achieve cost optimization.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted supply of materials.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain purchase records, invoices, quotations, and ensure compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify reliable suppliers, pricing trends, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
- Order Processing: Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Quality Coordination: Coordinate with QA/QC departments to ensure procured materials meet required quality standards.
- Reporting: Prepare procurement reports, MIS reports, and vendor performance evaluations.
Key Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmecy, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in procurement/purchase within the pharmaceutical industry.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging materials, vendor management, and procurement procedures.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good analytical and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and purchase orders efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and procurement software.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Language:
- Fluency in English is required.
Pay: ₹10,804.72 - ₹25,000.00 per month
