Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and experienced Image & Video Editor to join our digital team. The ideal candidate will produce high-quality visual content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and YouTube channel, including ads, reels, shorts, carousel posts, and full-length videos. You will work closely with the content and marketing teams to bring concepts to life and drive engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Video Editing
- Edit videos for YouTube long-form (5-30+ min), Shorts, Reels, Ads and other social content.
- Add captions, subtitles (Tamil / English), transitions, motion graphics, effects, and sound design to enhance engagement and retention.
- Create ad creatives optimized for conversions and engagement across platforms.
- Fluent in Tamil editing, subtitling, transliteration, and style creation.
Ads Content Creation
- Edit creatives specifically for paid ads (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube Ads)
- Optimize videos and images to maximize CTR, reach, and conversions
Content Optimization
- Ensure all creatives align with brand identity and platform best practices
- Resize and format assets for different networks
Collaboration
- Work with social media managers, content writers, and strategists
- Be proactive in ideation to generate new creative content concepts
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years professional experience editing for social media & YouTube
Strong portfolio showcasing:
- Social media visuals
- YouTube videos & thumbnails
- Ads creatives
- Fluent in Tamil editing, subtitling, transliteration, and style creation.
- Strong editing & creative sense with storytelling, pacing, hooks, and retention focus.
✔ Tools you must be proficient in
- Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve
- Motion Graphics: After Effects / Canva Pro (advanced)
- Image Editing: Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva
- Audio editing: Audition / Premiere built-in tools
✔ Knowledge of social platform formats
(e.g., YouTube, Shorts, Reels, Facebook, Instagram)
✔ Good understanding of social media trends & visual storytelling
