Job Description:
We are hiring a talented and experienced Executive Chef in Bangalore.
The Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining food quality, managing the kitchen team, controlling costs, and creating a menu that delights guests. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in multi-cuisine kitchens.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all kitchen operations and staff.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and hygiene.
- Plan menus, introduce new dishes, and oversee recipe standardization.
- Maintain food cost control, reduce wastage, and follow FIFO methods.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for supplies and vendor management.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all kitchen sections.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain company standards.
- Plan and execute special events, buffets, and VIP menus.
- Handle staffing, duty rosters, and performance evaluations.
- Work closely with management to meet business and profitability goals.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of kitchen experience with at least 2 years as a Head/Executive Chef.
- Strong culinary skills and understanding of Indian and Continental cuisines.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel or Culinary Management preferred.
- Must be disciplined, organized, and quality-focused.
