Role- Mainframe Developer
Location- Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi & Hyderabad
Years Of Experience: 4-10 years
Must have-
We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, and maintaining mainframe applications to support business-critical systems.
Good to have
- Strong programming skills in COBOL and JCL.
- Proficiency in DB2 (SQL queries, stored procedures) and VSAM file handling.
- Experience with mainframe utilities and debugging tools.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience in CICS, IMS, or other transaction processing systems.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools for mainframe environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of existing applications.
- Optimize batch processes and ensure efficient job scheduling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
Minimum Qualification:
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Minimum percentile of 50% in 10th, 12th, UG & PG (if applicable)
