Role overview
We seek a dynamic business intelligence (BI) lead to drive data strategy and analytical initiatives across the organization. The role will lead business intelligence initiatives, manage data visualization platforms such as Power BI, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver insights that support key business decisions.
Key responsibilities
Envision and plan projects, monitor progress, review team contributions, and conduct structured project meetings.
Identify appropriate templates and approaches for deliverables and project execution.
Contribute to analytics deliverables, including reports, dashboards, data warehouses, and marketing or training documentation such as technical specifications, use cases, user guides, technical presentations, and executive communication.
Validate deliverables against defined requirements and conduct software testing.
Manage one to three projects simultaneously, with the ability to stretch to four when required.
Contribute to pre-sales activities through high-level requirement analysis, approach design, effort estimation, and proposal development.
Qualifications and skills
Demonstrated experience in managing and contributing to multiple software development projects, preferably leading a team or a functional module.
In-depth knowledge of database design, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and reporting tools.
Working knowledge of cloud services such as SQL Azure, Dataverse, and SQL Data Warehouse.
Ability to gather solution requirements, develop detailed functional and technical specifications, and collaborate effectively with customers and users.
Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Computer Applications, or equivalent formal education or training with above average academic performance.
Strong interest and broad understanding of advanced topics such as data modeling, analytics architecture, relevant business contexts including sales and marketing processes, and emerging technology trends.
Capability to mentor team members and promote work ethics, process discipline, and alignment with the Advaiya value proposition.
Proven ability to plan and monitor project execution through structured work breakdown, clear assignments, and active progress tracking.
Understanding management reporting concepts, including team utilization, quality metrics, and project variance.
Ability to build strong working relationships and mutual trust across teams, locations, and with current and prospective clients.
