Role Summary
The Vendor Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, onboarding, and managing vendors and suppliers across packaging, raw materials, printing, and gifting components. The role involves building a reliable vendor ecosystem that supports quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery for Chocovic's product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, source, and onboard new vendors for packaging materials, printing, dielines, gifting components, and raw materials.
- Evaluate vendor capability, quality standards, pricing, and production capacity before onboarding.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain a documented, updated vendor database with rate contracts and performance records.
- Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure vendor output matches specifications (dielines, packaging quality, print standards).
- Monitor vendor performance on quality, cost, and delivery timelines; flag and resolve deviations.
- Conduct periodic vendor audits/visits and maintain compliance with company quality and ethical sourcing standards.
- Support cost-reduction initiatives by identifying alternate vendors and negotiating better commercial terms.
- Coordinate purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and resolve invoicing or quality discrepancies with vendors.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with existing vendors while continuously expanding the vendor network.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
