Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Safety Supervisor to oversee and ensure safe transportation and logistics operations. The role involves implementing safety policies, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Core Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance & Regulations
- Ensure adherence to government and industry safety standards.
- Implement and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
Road Transport Safety
- Monitor fleet safety, driver logs, and vehicle fitness.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws and transport permits.
Risk Assessment
- Identify hazards in operations (vehicle movement, driver fatigue).
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
Logistics & Warehousing
- Ensure safe loading/unloading and proper material handling practices.
Training & Awareness
- Train drivers, operators, and staff on safety procedures.
- Conduct toolbox talks and emergency drills.
Incident Investigation
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety violations.
- Prepare reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Monitoring Operations
- Ensure vehicles are well-maintained and safe for operation.
- Monitor driver behavior (speeding, fatigue, and compliance).
Chemical Safety Management
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of paints, solvents, and chemicals.
- Monitor the use of PPE (respirators, gloves, and goggles).
- Maintain and review Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS).
Fire & Explosion Safety
- Implement fire prevention systems due to flammable materials.
- Conduct regular checks of fire extinguishers, hydrants, and alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with guidelines similar to National Fire Protection Association practices.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
