Job Summary
The Forklift Mechanic Helper assists forklift mechanics in maintenance, repair, servicing, and troubleshooting activities for forklifts and material handling equipment. The role supports smooth workshop operations while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and timely job completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics during forklift servicing, repair, and maintenance work.
- Help in dismantling and assembling forklift parts and components.
- Clean mechanical parts, tools, and workshop equipment.
- Support in oil changing, greasing, filter replacement, and battery maintenance activities.
- Carry tools, spare parts, and materials required for maintenance jobs.
- Assist in checking hydraulic systems, brakes, tires, mast assemblies, and electrical components.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the workshop area.
- Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
- Load and unload spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Report damaged tools, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Support breakdown maintenance work at customer sites when required.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
