Role: Functional Safety Engineer - L2
Experience: 3 - 5 years

Key Skills/Requirements:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Functional Safety.
- Educational background: Bachelors/Masters in EEE/ECE or relevant.
- Proficiency in ISO26262 and demonstrated implementation of functional safety in automotive products.
- Responsible for evaluating safety goals, functional safety requirements; and safety concept.
- Generate technical safety requirement (detailed product safety requirement).
- Generate technical safety concept (system architecture).
- Generate executable simulation model to analyse feasibility and verify completeness of technical safety concept.
- Expertise in creating safety concepts and analyses.
- Familiarity with Ansys Medini or other requirements management tools.
✔Responsibilities:
- Coordinate safety activities for a project's safety development.
- Collaborate with the team to implement ISO-26262: Part 2,3,4,5 and 6 safety activities.
- Work closely with system engineers to fulfil functional safety requirements.
- Provide support for critical Sys/HW/SW safety analyses such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA and DFA.
- Assist system, hardware, and software teams in completing ISO26262 work products.
- Take charge of safety plan preparation and DIA preparation.
- Monitor and control safety activities in accordance with the safety plan or DIA.
- Report periodically on the status of safety activities.
- Understanding of vehicle electronic requirements and power electronics systems requirements
- Knowledge of automotive environments and processes (Automotive SPICE)
- Generate Hardware/Software Safety Requirements
- Perform safety analysis at System/HW/SW level
- Direct interaction with customer for project discussions
