Abaam Group is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Academic Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and counselling skills, with the ability to guide prospective students in choosing the right educational and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, and career opportunities.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, emails, and digital platforms.
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admission status.
- Achieve admission targets while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate a smooth admission process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Academic Counsellor or in a related counselling, admissions, education, sales, or student advisory role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and counselling abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is preferred.
