The Barista Head Trainer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing training programs for baristas to ensure consistent beverage quality, outstanding customer service, and adherence to company standards. This role mentors baristas, evaluates performance, develops training materials, and supports operational excellence across all café locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new and existing baristas.
- Train team members on coffee knowledge, brewing methods, espresso preparation, milk steaming, latte art, and beverage recipes.
- Create and maintain training manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and learning materials.
- Evaluate trainees through practical assessments and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace safety standards.
- Monitor beverage quality and service consistency across café locations.
- Conduct refresher training sessions and skill development workshops.
- Mentor and coach baristas to enhance technical expertise and customer engagement.
- Support café managers in identifying training needs and developing individual learning plans.
- Assist with new café openings by recruiting, training, and certifying barista teams.
- Stay updated on coffee industry trends, specialty coffee techniques, and new equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance training and ensure proper use of coffee machines and equipment.
- Analyze training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field (preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in café operations or specialty coffee, with at least 2 years in a training or leadership role.
- Professional coffee certifications (e.g., Specialty Coffee Association - SCA) are an advantage.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
