Role Overview
The E-commerce Photographer will be responsible for shooting and editing high-quality product images for our website, marketplaces, and social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of styling, lighting, and composition, along with hands-on experience in AI-powered photography and editing tools.
Key Responsibilities1. Product Photography
- Capture high-quality images of silver jewellery and fashion products
- Conduct studio and lifestyle shoots (model and non-model)
- Ensure accurate color representation and detailing
2. E-commerce Content Creation
- Shoot images for product listings (white background, catalog shots)
- Create creative visuals for banners, ads, and social media
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual outputs
3. AI-Based Photography & Editing
- Use AI tools for image enhancement, background generation, and retouching
- Apply AI for lighting correction, shadow creation, and realistic rendering
- Utilize generative AI for creating lifestyle/product mockups
- Stay updated with the latest AI trends in photography and editing
4. Editing & Post-Production
- Retouch images (dust removal, shine enhancement, skin retouching for models)
- Optimize images for web (size, format, speed)
- Maintain a clean and organized digital asset library
5. Collaboration & Planning
- Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams
- Plan shoots based on campaign requirements
- Suggest creative concepts aligned with brand identity
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in e-commerce, fashion, or jewellery photography
- Strong knowledge of lighting setups (especially for reflective surfaces like silver jewellery)
- Proficiency in tools like:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Lightroom
- Capture One (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AI tools, such as:
- AI image enhancement & retouching tools
- Generative AI (Midjourney, DALL·E, Firefly, etc.)
- Background removal & AI compositing tools
- Understanding of camera equipment, lenses, and studio setups
- Basic knowledge of videography (optional but preferred)
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in jewellery photography (highly preferred)
- Strong creative eye for luxury and fashion aesthetics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced e-commerce environment
- Detail-oriented with a passion for visual storytelling
