At Zostel, a Community Volunteer is more than just a host, you’re the Vibe Curator of the property.
You’ll be the face of the guest experience, making sure travellers don’t just check in, but feel included, connected, and part of the community from day one.
From welcoming guests and hosting social scenes to creating content and keeping the energy alive, your role is to make the property feel social, smooth, and unforgettable.

What You'll Be Doing:

Conduct guest induction tours, clearly communicating hostel amenities and community guidelines.

Plan and host daily interactive events, ensuring active participation and memorable experiences.

Create and manage engaging content for social media platforms, including daily upload of photos and reels.

Regularly update and manage guest engagement through the Zostel digital community chat group.

Collect guest feedback and reviews, promptly addressing concerns and ensuring high guest satisfaction.

Document daily activities, guest interactions, event outcomes, and prepare detailed handover reports.
Who We're Looking For:

A Content Creator or Artist.

Previously experienced in hospitality, guest relations, event hosting, volunteering, content creation, social media, or community management.

Outgoing, energetic, and naturally good with people.

Comfortable taking initiative and owning the guest experience.

Confident in hosting, speaking to groups, and creating a social atmosphere.

Organized, responsible, and able to manage day-to-day tasks independently.

Passionate about travel, hospitality, culture, and community-building.

Experience staying in hostels, backpacking, or working in traveller-first environments
