Job Summary
The Front Desk Executive / Receptionist will be responsible for managing the school reception area, handling visitor interactions, attending calls, coordinating communication, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome parents, students, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls, emails, and front desk communication
- Handle visitor entry, appointments, and maintain visitor records
- Provide accurate information regarding school procedures, admissions, and general inquiries
- Coordinate with different departments for smooth communication and operations
- Maintain student and staff records, documents, and reception registers
- Support the admissions team with inquiry handling and follow-ups
- Manage courier, dispatch, and incoming correspondence
- Ensure reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times
- Assist in administrative tasks, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports when required
- Handle emergency situations calmly and escalate issues to the concerned authority
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- Prior experience in front desk, receptionist, or customer service role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Presentable personality with professional etiquette
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong coordination and multitasking abilities
- Pleasant, patient, and approachable attitude
Preferred Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a school or educational institution preferred
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
