About Chord
At Chord, we don't just edit videos we create content people choose to watch till the last second. We're looking for a video editor who understands that great editing starts before the timeline. Someone who can shoot, direct, edit, experiment, and constantly improve how content performs.
What You'll Do
- Edit high-performing short-form content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Plan and execute BAU (Business-as-Usual) shoots for our brands.
- Direct talent during shoots to capture content that's built for editing not just documentation.
- Collaborate with strategists, copywriters, designers, and account teams from ideation to execution.
- Experiment with new formats, transitions, pacing, hooks, and storytelling techniques.
- Optimise edits for watch time, retention, and shareability.
- Stay updated on creator trends, editing styles, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
Who We're Looking For
You are someone who:
- Understands what makes people stop scrolling and keep watching.
- Can confidently handle both shooting and editing for everyday brand content.
- Thinks beyond execution and contributes creative ideas during brainstorming.
- Has a strong eye for composition, pacing, rhythm, and storytelling.
- Understands retention metrics and uses them to improve creative decisions.
- Is comfortable directing simple shoots and guiding creators on set.
- Takes ownership of projects from concept to final delivery.
Skills & Tools
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- After Effects (preferred)
- Camera handling for social-first productions
- Basic lighting and audio setup
- AI-assisted editing tools are a bonus
- Strong understanding of social media content formats and platform best practices

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
