As a Regional Technical Service Manager – Additives, you will be the technical expert supporting Arxada’s Additives and Driers portfolio across South Asia. In this customer-facing role, you will partner closely with customers, Sales, R&D, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to deliver innovative technical solutions that improve product performance and strengthen customer relationships.
You will play a critical role in driving business growth by providing formulation expertise, troubleshooting complex application challenges, conducting customer training and demonstrations, and supporting new product adoption. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong professional who enjoys combining laboratory expertise with customer engagement to create value across the paints, coatings, and additives markets.
Essential Job Functions:

Provide technical support and application expertise to customers across South Asia, resolving formulation and performance challenges and recommending effective solutions

Conduct customer visits, technical seminars, product demonstrations, and training sessions to promote product capabilities and strengthen customer relationships

Partner with commercial teams to support business development opportunities and accelerate product adoption within strategic accounts

Prepare, evaluate, and test paint and coating formulations to validate product performance and support customer projects

Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure effective communication of technical information and alignment on customer needs

Support new product evaluations, customer trials, and application development activities across the additives portfolio

Maintain technical reports, project documentation, and compliance with all safety and quality standards

Travel regularly throughout the region to support customers, business initiatives, and project activities
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline

8–10 years of experience within the chemical industry, preferably in paints, coatings, additives, or drier technologies

Strong technical knowledge of paint and coating formulations, additives, application technologies, and performance evaluation

Hands-on laboratory experience with formulation development, product testing, and troubleshooting

Proven ability to diagnose technical problems, interpret results, and provide practical customer-focused solutions

Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills

Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
