Key Responsibilities
Teach English to senior classes (XI–XII) as per CBSE/State Board curriculum.
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans.
Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Teach literature, grammar, and writing skills effectively.
Conduct regular assessments, tests, and evaluations.
Provide constructive feedback and support to students.
Prepare students for board examinations.
Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment.
Participate in school activities, meetings, and events.
Maintain records of attendance, performance, and progress.
Required Qualifications
Post Graduate (MA English) from a recognized university.
B.Ed. degree is mandatory.
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in senior secondary classes preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Strong command over English language and literature.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good classroom management skills.
Ability to use modern teaching aids and technology.
Passion for teaching and student development.
Additional Responsibilities
Organize literary activities (debates, poetry recitation, etc.).
Guide students in projects, assignments, and competitions.
Collaborate with other teachers and school staff.
