Job Description – Spare Parts Executive (Automobile Workshop)
Location: Modi Mahindra Workshop, Kandivali

Position Summary
The Spare Parts Executive is responsible for managing automobile spare parts inventory, ensuring timely availability of genuine Mahindra parts, supporting workshop operations, and maintaining accurate stock records. The role involves coordination with service advisors, technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth workshop functioning and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimum stock levels of spare parts and accessories.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
- Ensure proper storage, binning, labeling, and housekeeping of spare parts.
2. Parts Procurement
- Raise purchase orders for required spare parts.
- Coordinate with Mahindra and authorized suppliers for timely procurement.
- Follow up on pending orders and back-ordered parts.
- Verify received parts against purchase orders and invoices.
3. Workshop Support
- Issue spare parts against job cards.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Technicians regarding parts requirements.
- Ensure availability of critical parts for scheduled vehicle repairs and services.
- Support warranty and replacement parts processing.
4. Customer Service & Sales
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing genuine Mahindra spare parts.
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and delivery challans.
- Handle retail counter sales and customer inquiries.
- Promote genuine spare parts and accessories.
5. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and returns.
- Update inventory transactions in DMS/ERP systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain compliance with dealership and Mahindra audit requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in automobile spare parts operations.
- Knowledge of automobile components and Mahindra spare parts (preferred).
- Working knowledge of DMS/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
