Job Summary
The Senior Manager, MarTech Engineer leads the technical strategy and continuous modernization of marketing technology platforms that power acquisition, retention, and customer engagement. With strong expertise in MarTech ecosystems such as Adobe Experience Platform, CMS/DAM systems, Marketing Analytics, and Customer Data Platforms, this leader ensures solutions are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned to business outcomes. The role requires strong communication and influencing skills to align Business, Product, and Technology stakeholders around shared priorities and strategic direction.
Essential Job Functions
Leads engineers in full stack development across experience, service, and core technology components to deliver a unified product experience across product mix. Skill in solutioning, sizing and estimating in the delivery of targeted commitments. - (25%)
Mentor and lead a talented engineering team, developing the careers and technical capabilities of all team members, searching for career growth opportunities, and fostering collaboration and cross-pollination. Develop a best in class engineering organization of engineers directly reporting to them as well as contractors on site and oversees. - (25%)
Partners and influences leaders across the business and technology organizations. Typical partners include business domain / product leaders, information security, architecture, infrastructure engineering, and operations. Builds and maintains a roadmap for strategic partnership integrations in partnership with cross-functional teams. - (15%)
Leverages enterprise and spatial thinking to find optimal solutions that deliver results and balance the needs and requirements across business and technology. - (10%)
Creates and delivers clear and concise messages to executives, teams, and both internal and external partners. Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and embodies all Activator, Ambassador, and Visionary behaviors outlined by Bread Financial Leadership Behaviors. - (10%)
As a member on the engineering leadership team, drives innovation within domain. Implement, monitor and improve execution of agile methodology in launching Bread’s domain organizational structure. Utilize design tools as required to optimize critical aspects of the design. - (15%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area
5+ years in technology people leadership
Deep understanding of MarTech ecosystem and required integrations
Preferred Qualifications
6+ years of technology experience
Direct experience with Adobe AEP, AEM, DAM, AJO, AJA, Target and CDP
