Responsibilities
1. Concept Development
- Develop creative design concepts based on client requirements
- Prepare mood boards, design presentations, and material selections
- Translate client briefs into functional and aesthetic design solutions
2. Design & Documentation
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, 3D models, and renderings
- Produce technical drawings (floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery details)
- Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and regulations
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications (if required)
3. Client Coordination
- Present design proposals to clients
- Incorporate client feedback into revised designs
- Provide design clarification during project execution
4. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
- Conduct site visits to ensure design implementation accuracy
- Resolve design-related issues during execution
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle
5. Material & Vendor Coordination
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for samples and approvals
- Ensure materials meet quality and budget requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in project design (interior/modular furniture /construction preferred)
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3D Max, or similar software
- Strong knowledge of space planning and design principles
- Understanding of construction methods and materials
- Knowledge of local building regulations
