Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PowerBuilder Developer with strong expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise applications using PowerBuilder. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PowerBuilder Development, PowerScript, Sybase, DataWindow Objects, User Objects, and Event-Driven Programming. Excellent communication skills are mandatory, as this is a direct client-facing role.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in PowerBuilder Development
- Strong experience with PowerScript
- Hands-on experience with Sybase Database
- Experience working with DataWindow Objects
- Experience developing and maintaining User Objects
- Strong understanding of Event-Driven Programming / Event-Driven Execution
- Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Experience in application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using PowerBuilder
- Develop business logic using PowerScript
- Create, modify, and optimize DataWindow Objects
- Develop reusable User Objects
- Work with Sybase database for queries, stored procedures, and data management
- Implement and maintain event-driven application logic
- Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
