Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to lead the end-to-end development and delivery of a native iOS application, from initial development through App Store submission. The role involves full ownership of the client-side codebase, including content feeds, article experiences, subscriptions and paywalls, e-paper functionality, multimedia playback, push notifications, AI-powered features, and third-party integrations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services, ensure a high-quality user experience, and deliver a scalable, production-ready mobile application.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Integrate backend REST APIs for content delivery, authentication, subscriptions, paywalls, weather, podcasts, and gaming features.
- Implement secure authentication, user access control, and subscription management.
- Develop and enhance key user experiences, including content feeds, digital publications, multimedia playback, notifications, and offline reading capabilities.
- Integrate third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, push notifications, and digital publishing functionality.
- Build AI-powered user experiences, including personalized content feeds, summaries, recommendations, and preference management.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, accessibility, and support for dark mode across all screens.
- Implement in-app purchases and subscription workflows in compliance with App Store guidelines.
- Develop and maintain automated tests, participate in Agile development processes, and ensure high-quality releases.
- Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including TestFlight distribution, App Store submission, and ongoing application enhancements.
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
