We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Project Engineer to support the design, configuration, programming, testing, and commissioning of integrated Audio-Visual (AV) systems. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery of AV integration projects while meeting quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight of AV projects from award through installation and project completion.
- Review project Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure design accuracy and completeness.
- Develop AV system designs, engineering drawings, floor plans, RCPs, and technical documentation.
- Perform system configuration, programming, testing, and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
- Program and support DSP platforms and control systems such as Crestron and AMX.
- Conduct system commissioning, calibration, and quality assurance testing.
- Support installation teams with technical guidance during project execution.
- Review equipment requirements and approve final equipment selections.
- Create and maintain as-built documentation and project records.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Identify and resolve technical or logistical challenges during implementation.
- Provide project updates, testing reports, and commissioning documentation.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system handover activities.
- Travel to project sites as required.
Required Skills
- Experience with AV system design and integration.
- Knowledge of audio DSP programming and video processing systems.
- Hands-on experience with Crestron and/or AMX programming and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with AV test and calibration equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex AV system issues.
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow, networking, and control systems.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Electronics, Engineering, Audio Visual Technology, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in AV integration, AV engineering, or AV project engineering.
- CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I, Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, or similar certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills
- AutoCAD experience.
- Acoustical modeling and system design experience.
- AV-over-IP knowledge.
- Experience supporting enterprise, corporate, education, healthcare, or government AV projects.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
