Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer with strong Palo Alto Networks expertise to support multiple client environments within a Managed Services Provider (MSP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Palo Alto firewall infrastructure while ensuring adherence to SLAs, maintaining excellent documentation, and providing professional client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto Networks firewalls (Physical and Virtual).
- Manage Security Policies, NAT Rules, App-ID, User-ID, and Content-ID.
- Configure and support Site-to-Site VPNs and GlobalProtect Remote Access VPNs.
- Monitor firewall performance, logs, and security threats.
- Perform firewall upgrades, patching, backups, and recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot network and security incidents, including critical P1 escalations.
- Maintain compliance with client SLAs and operational procedures.
- Provide regular client updates, incident summaries, and RCA documentation.
- Create and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure secure network operations.
