Location: Corporate Office – Gurugram
Position: Associate Manager- Legal
Job Role:
To assist in providing proactive legal support and advice to business units and key stakeholders across the offices and manufacturing units in India and to assist them with achieving their core strategic objectives while appropriately managing and mitigating the associated legal risks;
Drafting and vetting agreements, contracts, MOUs for complex business transactions;
Negotiations with external parties for finalization of contracts;
Strategizing, commenting, advising on, preparing defences and briefing counsels and law firms in areas of law including Writ Petitions, Arbitration proceedings, Trademarks and Labour laws;
Interacting with cross functional teams and external agencies/ associations;
Advising on plethora of legal issues for all internal & external customer facing processes;
To regularly maintain and update Legal MIS and ensure maintenance of updated case records.
Independently handle IP matters, including registration of trademarks, prosecution and oppositions, and IP related dispute matters.

Qualification
Undergraduate law degree from a recognized and reputed university.
Experience
Minimum 5-7 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing industry or corporate practice in reputed law firm(s).
