About Pioneer Packaging Industries
At Pioneer Packaging Industries, we don't just make containers; we engineer the first impression of our customers' products. As a leader in the packaging sector, our logistics network is the vital link between our high-tech manufacturing floors in Howrah and the global brands that rely on us. We are looking for a Logistics Manager who is a master of scale, speed, and precision to lead our operations from our Baniara facility.
Your Mission
You will lead the end-to-end logistics strategy for our manufacturing facilities. Your goal is to ensure that our high-volume packaging solutions reach our clients exactly when they need them, optimizing every mile of the journey and every square inch of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Distribution: Design and execute a logistics roadmap that supports Pioneer’s manufacturing footprint across the West Bengal region and beyond.
- Volume Optimization: Master the art of shipping "air" (empty packaging) by optimizing load planning and utilizing $Freight-per-Unit$ metrics to drive down costs.
- Warehouse Leadership: Oversee large-scale storage of raw materials (paper/resin) and finished goods at our Biparnna Para facility, ensuring 100% inventory accuracy.
- Carrier Partnership: Build and maintain a robust carrier network, negotiating long-term contracts that ensure capacity during peak seasonal surges and local transport challenges.
- Process Automation: Implement and refine our TMS/ERP integrations to move away from manual tracking toward real-time, data-driven visibility.
Requirements
- Experience: 3 - 5 years in Logistics/Supply Chain, with at least 3 years in a high-volume manufacturing environment (Packaging, Plastics, or Industrial goods preferred).
- Expertise: Deep understanding of $3PL$ vs. $Asset-Based$ carrier models and familiarity with regional transport regulations in West Bengal.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA or certifications like CSCP are a major plus).
- Software: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and logistics modeling tools.
We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to lead a critical node in the regional supply chain.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
- Food provided
- Provident Fund
Work Location: In person
