Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to lead video post-production across multiple formats and platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling abilities, advanced editing skills, and experience handling end-to-end video projects while mentoring junior editors and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality videos including brand films, social media content, corporate videos, ads, reels, shorts, and promotional videos
- Lead post-production workflows: editing, color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and final output
- Collaborate closely with creative, marketing, and content teams to understand briefs and deliver engaging visual stories
- Ensure consistency in brand tone, style, and visual identity across all video assets
- Review and provide constructive feedback to junior video editors
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
- Stay updated with latest video trends, formats, and platform requirements (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Coordinate with external vendors, voice-over artists, and freelancers when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4-5 years of professional experience in video editing and post-production
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro (DaVinci Resolve is a plus)
- Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and visual aesthetics
- Experience with motion graphics, basic animation, and typography
- Knowledge of color grading, audio syncing, and sound mixing
- Ability to work independently as well as lead a small editing team
- Excellent time management and communication skills
