Job Title: Structural Steel AutoCAD Draftsman – 3D Modeling & Fabrication Detailing
Location: Irumpanam, Kochi, Kerala
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹26,000 per month
Job Summary: We are looking for a Structural Steel Draftsman with 2–3 years of experience who is proficient in both 2D drafting and 3D Structural Modeling. You will be responsible for preparing high-precision technical drawings and 3D representations of steel assemblies. This role requires a candidate who understands steel connection detailing, fabrication logic, and site erection requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Keywords:
- Steel Modeling & Detailing: Ability to perform 3D Modeling and comprehensive Detailing of structural steel members and connections.
- Fabrication Detailing: Prepare detailed GA Drawings (General Arrangement), Shop Drawings, Section Details, and Anchor Bolt Plans.
- Steel Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of Steel Connections, Welding Symbols, Bolting Standards, and stiffener details.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level AutoCAD 2D & 3D; ability to interpret 3D models to produce accurate 2D outputs.
- Coordination: Ensuring 100% accuracy between the design model and the final drawing output.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience specifically in Structural Steel Drafting and Modeling.
- Deep understanding of international steel standards (AISC/BS/IS).
- Ability to read and interpret complex structural design drawings and architectural layouts.
- Mandatory Requirement: Candidate must be ready for a technical drafting speed and accuracy test within the upcoming week focusing on structural steel modeling and connection detailing.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
