Job Description
Skyfabricators is looking for a Production Engineer to manage and supervise production activities for Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor daily production activities.
- Supervise fabrication, welding, cutting, drilling and assembly work.
- Ensure production targets and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Check quality of fabricated steel components.
- Coordinate with design, purchase, stores and project teams.
- Manage manpower and production resources effectively.
- Maintain production records and reports.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed on the shop floor.
- Identify production problems and implement corrective actions.
Qualification
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in steel fabrication, PEB or structural steel production preferred.
- Good knowledge of fabrication drawings and shop-floor operations.
- Knowledge of welding, cutting, drilling and steel fabrication processes.
- Good communication and team-management skills.
Salary
₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.
Preferred Candidate
Candidates with experience in PEB manufacturing, structural steel fabrication or industrial shed manufacturing will be given preference.
