Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Staffing to lead and grow our staffing business.
This role owns the complete Profit & Loss (P&L) of the staffing unit. The person will drive business growth, revenue, client acquisition, delivery excellence, and team leadership.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader from the staffing or recruitment industry who has successfully built and scaled staffing businesses, managed enterprise clients, and delivered strong financial performance.
Responsibilities
Business & P&L Ownership
Own full P&L responsibility for the staffing business.
Drive revenue growth and profitability.
Prepare annual business plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Track financial performance including gross margin and net margin.
Optimize pricing models and manage operational costs.
Revenue Growth & Business Development
Create and execute strategies for Contract Staffing, Permanent Hiring, and RPO services.
Acquire new enterprise clients and grow existing accounts.
Identify new industry sectors and expansion opportunities.
Build strategic partnerships and alliances.
Lead key client negotiations and close large deals.
Client Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with CXOs, HR leaders, and decision makers.
Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
Manage escalations and maintain high delivery standards.
Operations & Delivery Excellence
Oversee recruitment delivery and sourcing strategies.
Ensure strong fill rates, quality hiring, and faster turnaround time.
Introduce process improvements and automation where possible.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and contractual agreements.
Leadership & Team Management
Build and lead high-performing sales and recruitment teams.
Define KPIs and performance metrics for teams.
Coach, mentor, and develop team leaders.
Create a performance-driven and client-focused culture.
Strategic Planning & Market Positioning
Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities.
Develop go-to-market strategies.
Position the company as a trusted staffing partner for large enterprises.

Qualifications
1218+ years of experience in the Staffing / Recruitment industry.
35 years in a leadership role managing a business unit or vertical.
Proven experience handling P&L for 1520 Cr+ staffing business.
Strong understanding of Contract Staffing, Permanent Hiring, and RPO models.
Strong financial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelors degree in Business, HR, or related field (MBA preferred).
