Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Area Operations Manager to lead operations across multiple Gabru Di Chaap outlets within an assigned region. The ideal candidate will possess extensive QSR leadership experience, a strong operational mindset, and the ability to drive business growth through operational excellence, team development, and consistent execution of brand standards.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can mentor Area Managers and Store Managers, optimize operational performance, and ensure every outlet delivers an exceptional customer experience while achieving business objectives.
Key ResponsibilitiesRegional Operations Management
- Oversee operations across multiple outlets through Area Managers and Store Managers, ensuring operational excellence and consistent brand standards.
- Monitor daily business performance, identify operational gaps, and implement improvement strategies.
- Drive productivity, profitability, and operational efficiency across the assigned region.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach, and mentor Area Managers, Store Managers, and outlet teams to build high-performing operations.
- Develop succession plans and identify future leaders within the organization.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure continuous learning and development.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure strict compliance with all SOPs related to kitchen operations, food preparation, customer service, hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
- Standardize operational processes across all outlets to maintain consistency and improve efficiency.
- Drive a culture of accountability, discipline, and operational excellence.
Business Performance & Profitability
- Monitor key business metrics including sales, labour cost, food cost, wastage, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Implement strategies to improve revenue, reduce operational costs, and maximize outlet profitability.
- Analyze business trends and recommend action plans to achieve regional targets.
Quality & Customer Experience
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, presentation, and service across all outlets.
- Review customer feedback, resolve escalated issues promptly, and implement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure brand standards are consistently upheld across every customer touchpoint.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Oversee inventory management, procurement coordination, and stock planning.
- Ensure accurate inventory controls, minimize wastage, and maintain optimal food cost and operational expenses.
- Monitor compliance with inventory and cash handling procedures.
Compliance & Audits
- Conduct periodic operational audits covering hygiene, food safety, statutory compliance, inventory, and service standards.
- Ensure complete compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop corrective action plans and follow up on implementation.
New Store Expansion
- Support new store launches by coordinating recruitment, training, operational setup, trial runs, and post-opening stabilization.
- Ensure new outlets meet operational readiness standards before launch.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management
- Prepare and present regional performance reports, operational dashboards, and action plans to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with HR, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and Training teams to ensure seamless business operations.
- Participate in strategic planning and contribute to operational improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in QSR, restaurant, or food service operations.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing multiple outlets or leading Area Managers.
- Proven track record of driving operational excellence, business growth, and profitability.
- Strong understanding of QSR operations, kitchen workflows, inventory management, food safety, and customer service standards.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and operational reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
