Assistant Production Engineer
Experience : 5-7+ years
Salary : 30,000- 40000
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure smooth production operations while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Conduct in-process inspections and coordinate with the Quality team to ensure product quality.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain job cards, production reports, and daily production records.
- Monitor machine parameters and process settings to ensure optimum production performance.
- Review production processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with Cross Functional Teams (CFT) for new product development and process implementation.
- Support production planning and manpower allocation to meet production schedules.
- Supervise production operators, technicians, and junior engineers on the shop floor.
- Maintain production-related documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and production records.
- Ensure proper implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on the shop floor.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and maintain machine breakdown records.
- Plan and monitor calibration and validation of production equipment and measuring instruments.
- Maintain process validation records, including oven/process parameter validation where applicable.
- Monitor rejection and rework, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to reduce defects.
- Coordinate with the Quality department for PPAP activities, customer requirements, and pre-dispatch inspections.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other applicable quality management system requirements.
- Verify employee training records and ensure operators are trained for assigned processes.
- Maintain 4M Change (Man, Machine, Material, Method) and abnormal condition records.
- Conduct skill assessments of new and existing operators and update the Skill Matrix regularly.
- Ensure safety practices are followed and maintain a safe working environment.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and present them to the management.
- Coordinate with Stores, Maintenance, Purchase, and Quality departments for uninterrupted production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce downtime, and optimize manufacturing costs.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
