Join the team that is driving the Data Governance journey for the Consumer and Community Banking team at JPMorgan
As a Data Management Senior Associate within Consumer Community Banking Reference Data and Classifiers team, you will play a critical role in implementing a standardized governance framework, through a series of protocols, to effectively manage Consumer Community Banking - Reference Data and Classifiers as it moves to the public Cloud. You'll work with Data Owners, Product Owners, and Technology teams and have the opportunity to contribute thought leadership with exposure to senior leaders.
As part of the Consumer Community Banking - Chief Data Office Strategy team that serves multiple stakeholders and sits in the middle of a large, matrixed Data Governance organization, we strive to evaluate, develop and implement coordinated strategies that meet multiple business and compliance objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement AI / LLM based strategies to effectively manage the data risks associated with enterprise data warehouse solutions (data catalogs, data lakes, etc.)
Define, deliver and enhance a standard set of protocols to manage Consumer and Community Banking's data risk as it moves to the public Cloud.
Manage and execute Master Data Management strategies within data catalogs, reference data and data classification to ensure the Firm's data risks are appropriately understood and effectively mitigated
Effectively manage the implementation of the protocols in conjunction with the Consumer and Community Banking data community.
Develop and implement a sustainable program, operating models and related tools to support implementation of the protocols.
Collaborate with Control and Audit functions to ensure our strategies align with Firmwide and Consumer and Community Banking policies and standards, as well as relevant regulatory or legislative requirements. Ensure controls are properly documented in Firmwide tooling.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree with 7+ years Data Governance, Meta Data Management, Data Classification, and Reference Data in the financial domain
Experience with Data Analytics using tools such as Alteryx, Informatica, Alation, Collibra, Tableau, or any other ETL tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and planning skills

Hands-on experience with Python and its libraries for generating insights.
Experience with Agile project management practices and SDLC processes
Ability to develop strong partnerships and collaborations
Experience with defining and implementing a multi-faceted project or program
Ability to take initiative, influence others, and achieve results
Comfortable with changing priorities and working through ambiguity
Strong analytical skills and previous experience working with enterprise level data
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

Knowledge of Data Catalog, Data Lake, and Data Warehouse concepts.
Working knowledge of LLM and/or AWS Cloud technologies

Data Science knowledge is considered a plus
Demonstrated experience with analytical tools, PowerPoint / PitchPro+, Confluence, Teams and Excel
