Ab Initio Support
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Support Engineer with 8 years of experience in ETL development production support and data warehouse environments The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Ab Initio UnixLinux database technologies and application support processes The candidate will be responsible for monitoring troubleshooting maintaining and optimizing critical ETL workflows while ensuring high availability and data integrity across production environments
Key Responsibilities
Provide L2L3 production support for Ab Initio applications and ETL processes
Monitor daily batch executions through Control Center and ensure SLA compliance
Investigate troubleshoot and resolve production incidents data issues and job failures
Perform root cause analysis RCA and implement preventive measures
Support incident problem and change management activities
Work closely with business users development teams and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
Conduct impact analysis for production changes and deployments
Implement performance tuning and optimization of Ab Initio graphs and ETL workflows
Support code migration across environments and deployment activities
Develop and maintain support documentation runbooks and knowledge articles
Participate in oncall support and weekend releases as required
Ensure adherence to production support standards and audit requirements
