Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources & Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations, HR administration, employee lifecycle processes, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while supporting recruitment, employee relations, HR documentation, and organizational development initiatives.
This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, improving HR processes, and supporting business growth through effective people management practices.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
· Process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
· Manage salary structures, allowances, reimbursements, deductions, bonuses, and incentives.
· Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Gratuity, and other applicable regulations.
· Coordinate with finance and accounting teams for payroll reconciliation and reporting.
· Maintain payroll records, employee compensation data, and audit documentation.
· Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
Human Resources Operations
· Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and offboarding processes.
· Maintain employee records and HR databases.
· Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
· Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and company policies.
· Prepare HR reports, employee data analysis, and workforce metrics.
Recruitment & Employee Support
· Support recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
· Coordinate employee engagement and retention initiatives.
· Assist in performance management and employee development programs.
· Foster a positive and productive workplace culture.
Compliance & Administration
· Ensure adherence to applicable Indian labor laws and statutory regulations.
· Manage employment contracts, HR documentation, and compliance records.
· Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
· Coordinate with external vendors and consultants when required.
Employee Training & Development· Coordinate employee onboarding training and induction programs.
· Plan and administer general training, compliance training, and role-specific training
programs.
· Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and training documentation.
· Track employee training completion and support learning & development initiatives.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external training providers when required.
· Assist in identifying training needs and support employee development programs.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
· 4+ years of experience in HR, Payroll, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles.
· Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing for Indian employees.
· Thorough knowledge of Indian payroll regulations, PF, ESI, PT, TDS, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
· Experience with payroll software and HRMS platforms.
· Strong HR documentation, compliance, and process management skills.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
· High attention to detail and accuracy in payroll administration.
· Fluency in English and Hindi.
Preferred
· Experience in hospitality, food services, retail, or multi-location operations.
· Knowledge of compensation and benefits administration.
· Experience supporting workforce planning and organizational growth initiatives.

Pay: ₹10,857.16 - ₹33,179.37 per month
