Job Overview
The Driver will be responsible for safely operating the Mobile Dental Van, ensuring the timely transportation of the dental team, equipment, and supplies to designated community locations. The role includes maintaining the vehicle in good working condition, adhering to safety and traffic regulations, supporting basic logistical arrangements during field visits, and ensuring the smooth functioning of outreach activities.
Job Responsibilities

Safely drive the Mobile Dental Van to scheduled locations and ensure timely transportation of the dental team, project staff, equipment, and supplies.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and monitor fuel, engine oil, coolant, tyre pressure, battery, brakes, and other essential components.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and roadworthiness of the vehicle through routine servicing and preventive maintenance.
- Report vehicle malfunctions or maintenance requirements promptly to the supervisor.
- Maintain vehicle logbooks, trip sheets, mileage, and fuel consumption records.
- Ensure all statutory vehicle documents, including registration, insurance, PUC, fitness certificate, and permits, are valid and available in the vehicle.
- Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and organizational policies while maintaining a safe environment for staff and beneficiaries.
- Ensure emergency equipment, including the first aid kit and fire extinguisher, is available and functional, and respond appropriately in case of accidents or vehicle breakdowns.
Undertake any other responsibilities assigned to support the successful implementation of the Mobile Dental Healthcare Project.

Profile Requisites:

Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass).

Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving license as applicable for the vehicle.

Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.

Minimum 3–5 years of professional driving experience, preference will be given to prior experience in driving mobile healthcare units, ambulances, commercial vehicles, or similar field vehicles will be an added advantage.

Basic communication skills in Hindi and Marathi; knowledge of English will be an added advantage.

Responsible, punctual, dependable, and willing to work in field settings.

Willingness to travel extensively within Mumbai, Karjat, and nearby project locations.
Remuneration:
Consultancy fees will range between INR 25000 per month, subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit.
