Job Overview
We are looking for a powerhouse Operations Manager to spearhead and secure the daily operations of India's biggest multi-concept playground—the boCHE 1000 Acres in Wayanad. This massive terrain combines vast plantation operations (tea/agriculture), massive infrastructure, high-footfall entertainment worlds, live concerts, and luxury hospitality/resort elements.
Managing a 1000-acre estate means you aren't just managing a resort; you are managing a small ecosystem. We need an assertive leader who possesses the absolute authority and executive presence of a General Manager to manage critical disputes, local liaisons, and labor relations, while maintaining the refined poise, politeness, and brand standards expected of the premium boCHE Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispute Resolution & Crisis Control: Act as the primary shield for the estate. Handle local community disputes, land/boundary management issues, labor union friction, and guest escalations cleanly and effectively.
- Estate-Wide Command: Oversee the cross-functional operations of a 1000-acre property—spanning hospitality rooms, entertainment arenas, dining facilities, and plantation activities (Bhoomiputhra tea operations).
- Public Relations & Statutory Liaison: Confidently manage relationships with Government authorities, local Panchayats, police, forest/environmental departments, and industry neighbors.
- Workforce Discipline: Direct, motivate, and manage a vast, diverse team of ground staff, security personnel, kitchen crews, and agricultural workers. Enforce zero-compromise accountability on the ground.
- Operational Integrity & Safety: Standardize rapid-response systems for emergency situations, fire safety, resource optimization, and logistical protocols across the massive layout.
Required Candidate Profile ("The Persona")
- The Iron Fist in a Velvet Glove: You must be incredibly bold, unshakeable, and authoritative when protecting company interests, yet completely polite, diplomatic, and calm in your speech and manners.
- Proven Command: 8–15 years of hardcore operational experience managing large-scale properties, massive resorts, tea/coffee estates, or mega entertainment spaces.
- Dispute Handling Mastery: Strong prior background in Industrial Relations (IR), labor laws, union management, or local community mediation is highly valued.
- Linguistic Command: Absolute fluency in Malayalam (essential for local, labor, and authority liaisons) and English (for corporate reporting and premium guest interaction).
- Physical Stamina & Presence: A hands-on leader who prefers walking the 1000-acre ground, assessing operations live, rather than sitting behind a desk.
