Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of software products. Collaboration and leadership are central to driving continuous improvement and achieving project goals.

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure consistent delivery standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align quality objectives with overall project goals.
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and pipeline development within the Databricks environment.
- Experience in designing and executing automated and manual testing strategies for data-driven applications.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify quality issues and recommend improvements.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices in quality engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
