Job Title: Purchase Manager (Hospital & Hospitality)
Job Summary:
Responsible for cost-effective, timely, and compliant procurement of medical supplies, healthcare equipment, and food/beverage inventory. This role ensures the uninterrupted workflow of clinical operations alongside the smooth running of the hospital’s restaurant and catering services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medical Sourcing: Source and procure medical consumables, pharmaceuticals, laboratory reagents, and hospital equipment in coordination with clinical heads.
- F&B Procurement: Manage daily/weekly sourcing of fresh ingredients, groceries, kitchen equipment, and restaurant supplies, adhering to food hygiene and FSSAI standards.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with both medical vendors and food suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels across medical stores and kitchen pantries to eliminate waste, prevent stockouts, and avoid over-stocking.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure all medical goods comply with healthcare regulations, and food items meet strictly monitored safety and quality standards.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Manage the procurement budget, track cost-saving initiatives, and process purchase orders (POs) and invoices accurately using ERP systems.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years in procurement, ideally with experience split or blended between healthcare and hospitality/F&B industries.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, vendor management, inventory tracking, and proficiency in ERP/purchasing software.
- Education: Degree in Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related fields.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
