Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid INDUSTRIAL SALES EXECUTIVE role based in Anklesvar, with a mix of on-site client visits and some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves identifying and developing new industrial customers, managing existing accounts, and promoting HPCL industrial lubricants to decision-makers in target industries. The Industrial Sales Executive will conduct regular field visits, understand customer applications and lubrication needs, propose suitable product solutions, and prepare quotations and commercial offers. Responsibilities include achieving assigned sales and collection targets, monitoring competitor activity, coordinating with internal logistics and technical teams to ensure timely deliveries and support, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or reporting tools. The role also includes conducting product presentations, participating in promotional campaigns, handling basic technical queries related to lubricants, and providing feedback from the market to support business growth.
Qualifications
Strong industrial sales and business development skills, with experience in B2B selling and client relationship management.
Ability to understand industrial processes and basic technical aspects of lubricants, machinery, or maintenance operations.
Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with the ability to engage confidently with procurement, maintenance, and operations teams.
Competence in basic computer tools (e.g., MS Office, email, CRM or reporting systems) and comfort with preparing proposals and reports.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently while coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in lubricants, industrial products, or related engineering sales is preferred.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field is desirable; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
Willingness to travel within Anklesvar and nearby industrial areas as required for client visits.
