About the Role
A reputed multi-speciality hospital in Ankleshwar is seeking a dedicated and technically skilled Biomedical Engineer to support the maintenance, calibration, and smooth functioning of medical equipment across various departments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with hospital equipment and a strong understanding of biomedical systems and preventive maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot biomedical equipment and medical devices.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs, AMC/CMC management, and equipment servicing.
- Ensure proper calibration and performance testing of biomedical equipment.
- Maintain equipment records, maintenance logs, and service reports.
- Support equipment procurement, evaluation, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clinical and nursing staff regarding equipment usage.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend replacement or upgrades when required.
- Assist during NABH audits and ensure proper documentation related to biomedical equipment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Biomedical Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration.
- Familiarity with diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring equipment.
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance programs and equipment documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in NABH-accredited hospitals.
- Knowledge of AMC/CMC management and vendor coordination.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
