Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial transactions and accounting operations using Tally Prime. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing accounts payable/receivable, and handling routine statutory compliances like GST and TDS.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Accounting: Log daily financial transactions, vouchers, receipts, payments, and journal entries accurately into Tally Prime.
- Invoicing & Ledger Management: Generate sales invoices, track purchase bills, and maintain up-to-date accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
- Banking Operations: Perform regular bank reconciliations (BRS), manage cash flow, and handle petty cash expenses.
- Taxation & Compliance:
- Prepare and compute monthly GST data (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase registers.
- Deduct and record TDS entries accurately and assist in quarterly TDS return preparations.
- Vendor & Customer Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts with vendors and customers to ensure zero discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly financial statements from Tally, including Trial Balance, Profit & Loss accounts, and Balance Sheets for management review.
- Documentation: Maintain a systematic, organized filing system for all physical and digital financial documents, invoices, and vouchers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Corporate Secretaryship, or a related financial field.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of core accounting experience (manufacturing or trading industry experience is a major plus).
- Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Tally Prime (including inventory management, cost centers, and statutory features) is mandatory.
- MS Office: Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) for data cross-checking.
- Tax Knowledge: Strong foundational understanding of Indian taxation laws, specifically GST, TDS, and basic MSME payment regulations.
- Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong analytical mindset, and the ability to meet strict compliance deadlines.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
