Job Title: Human Resources (HR) Generalist / US HR

Job Summary
The HR professional will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations for US employees, ensuring compliance with US labor laws, handling employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and supporting talent management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance-
Manage end-to-end HR lifecycle for US employees (onboarding to offboarding)

Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA, etc.)

Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

Handle audits, compliance checks, and policy implementation
Payroll & Benefits-
Coordinate US payroll processing with vendors (ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.)

Manage benefits administration (health insurance, 401(k), PTO, leaves)

Address payroll discrepancies and employee queries
Employee Relations-
Act as a point of contact for US employees regarding HR policies and concerns

Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

Support performance management and appraisal cycles
Recruitment & Onboarding-
Support US hiring processes in coordination with recruitment teams

Conduct background checks, offer rollouts, and onboarding sessions

Ensure smooth joining experience for new hires
Policy & Process Management-
Draft, update, and implement HR policies aligned with US laws

Support HR process improvement and automation initiatives

Partner with leadership on HR strategy and workforce planning
Required Skills & Qualifications-
Strong knowledge of US HR practices and labour laws

Experience handling US payroll and benefits

Hands-on experience with HRMS tools (Workday, ADP, BambooHR, etc.)

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to work in US time zones
Preferred Qualifications-
MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent

Experience working with US-based employees or clients

SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP certification (preferred)
