Job Title: Patient Relationship Officer (PRO)
Job Summary:
A Patient Relationship Officer is responsible for ensuring a smooth and positive experience for patients by assisting with their needs, handling queries, coordinating services, and maintaining strong communication between patients, doctors, and hospital staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and guide patients and their families within the hospital
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
- Coordinate appointments, admissions, and discharge processes
- Assist patients with documentation, billing, and insurance procedures
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
- Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff
- Ensure patient satisfaction and improve overall service quality
- Follow up with patients for feedback and post-treatment care
- Support emergency or priority cases with quick coordination
Required Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution ability
- Basic knowledge of hospital procedures and healthcare services
- Empathy, patience, and a customer-focused attitude
- Good organizational and multitasking skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, or related field
- Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in healthcare/customer service preferred
