Interior Designer Intern (Design & Pre-Sales)

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in interior design while also learning how projects are acquired through client consultations and pre-sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesInterior Design
- Assist in designing residential and commercial interior projects.
- Prepare concept presentations, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Create 2D layouts, space plans, and working drawings.
- Develop basic 3D models and visualizations.
- Research materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor.
- Assist with site visits, measurements, and project documentation.
- Support senior designers during project execution.
Pre-Sales & Client Consultation
- Attend client discovery calls and meetings with the design team.
- Understand client requirements, budgets, timelines, and design preferences.
- Help prepare design proposals and presentations.
- Conduct follow-up calls and coordinate with prospective clients.
- Maintain lead information and update CRM records.
- Coordinate meetings between clients, designers, and project teams.
- Assist in converting qualified leads into design consultations.
- Build strong relationships by providing excellent customer experience.
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Passion for interior design and customer interaction.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of design principles and space planning.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Familiarity with Photoshop, Canva, or presentation tools is a plus.
- Confident, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
