Position Overview In this office-based role, you will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure our software meets the highest standards of functionality, reliability, and performance. You will dive headfirst into the software testing lifecycle, transforming requirements into robust test scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases, analyze results, and document software defects with high precision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and user stories.
- Perform regression, functional, and smoke testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Track defects throughout their lifecycle using bug-tracking tools and verify fixes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating test documentation, test plans, and test suites.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear defect reporting.
