We're looking for a Mid-Senior Jewelry CAD & Resin Printing Specialist to join our growing jewelry manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Rhino 3D and hands-on experience preparing and producing high-quality resin masters for jewelry manufacturing.
This role combines CAD design, print preparation, and quality control to create production-ready masters for lost-wax casting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and modify jewelry models using Rhino 3D
- Create production-ready CAD models for rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, and charms
- Export and prepare STL files for printing
- Import models into CHITUBOX for slicing and support generation
- Optimize model orientation, support placement, and print parameters
- Operate resin 3D printers (preferably Phrozen or similar MSLA printers)
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and high-quality surface finish of printed masters
- Troubleshoot print failures and optimize workflows
- Maintain resin printers and follow preventive maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with the casting and production teams to ensure manufacturability
Required Skills
- 3–6 years of experience in jewelry CAD design
- Strong proficiency in Rhino 3D
- Experience using CHITUBOX or similar slicing software
- Hands-on experience with resin 3D printing for jewelry masters
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and lost-wax casting processes
- Understanding of tolerances, shrinkage, wall thickness, and support strategies
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MatrixGold, RhinoGold, or similar jewelry CAD software
- Experience with Phrozen, Asiga, or other professional resin printers
- Knowledge of gemstone settings and production constraints
- Basic understanding of mold making and casting processes
