A Sales Manager in Corporate Sales for Insurance Broking is responsible for driving B2B insurance solutions, acquiring and managing corporate clients, negotiating with insurers, and ensuring long-term client relationships while meeting revenue targets. The role demands strong expertise in insurance products, risk management, and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and acquire corporate clients across industries.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, and corporate outreach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs and decision-makers.
- Insurance Advisory & Solution Selling
- Assess client risk profiles and business models.
- Provide customized insurance solutions (property, liability, health, marine, fire, group policies, etc.).
- Negotiate with insurers and underwriters for competitive quotes and coverage terms.
- Sales Lifecycle Management
- Handle end-to-end sales: lead generation → proposal → deal closure → policy servicing.
- Ensure smooth renewals and post-sales support.
- Achieve assigned revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Market & Strategy
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell insurance products.
- Collaborate with internal servicing and operations teams for client satisfaction.
